I build systems that help societies think.

I'm a product engineer working independently, focused on building useful software for real people. I take ideas from problem to prototype quickly, validate them with users, and let feedback determine whether they grow, pivot, or end. I ship fast — but never without intention.

About

My work spans across product engineering, data systems, and applied AI. I'm intentionally moving toward high-performance computing and systems architecture as tools for solving societal problems (civic) — while staying grounded in practical building.

This site is a living archive of things I'm working on: products, experiments, notes, and ideas in progress. It's written for builders, students, and future researchers who value clarity, first principles, and useful systems.

I build to understand. I write to think. I share to learn.

Current Research

Optimizing PostgreSQL for large-scale civic datasets
Neural network architectures for societal AI applications
Digital identity systems for county governments
Real-time agricultural data pipelines

Friday Chai in Nairobi

I dedicate Friday afternoons to deep dives, and small talk. If you're in town, let's geek out over distributed systems, civic tech, or why you love homesteading... or just show me what you're building.
